The look i choose for this month nails is a Harry Potter inspired one, since i'm going to London and i will be doing the Harry Potter tour. 

I used the products from Andreia and later i apply some nail art waterslide decals that i order from ebay.

So this is the first book i read from this author and i have to say i really enjoy it. The theme of this books is personal to me, i'm also a chubby girl and i can relate personally to the main character, for this alone i love the story. 

In this book we meet Becky a comum everyday girl who wants to build a new life for herself, she is done with her job, she is single and she has a idea of building a dating agency for "big" girls. In the process of creating her new life she meets Reed, a hot guy that make her breathless, the only problem he has a fiancee. 

I really like how the author explored the insecurities that every girl has about their body, if you are curvy or skinny, everyone has some "problems" with some part of our shelf. So this books is a great reminder that these things are not importante, that what matters is the personality of the person. 

I know that in real life, normally things do not work that way, but i also think that they should. For me this book make me see things from a different perspective and make me think "What if i also make assumptions based only on superficial stuff?". 

I gave 4 stars to this one just because a books that you can related to and also a book that makes you think, deserve that rating. Also i have to say that this book is a quick read and a lite one.

First of all let me give you a little framework about this series and how i came across it. 

I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and all that is related to it, and as must fans i'm so sorry that there are not new books about the wizarding world. So when i went searching about story's from this world i came across this site: http://tomriddlesschooldays.com/

So this is the 3º book in Tom Riddle's Schooldays series and i have to say that i'm loving these books so far. I always want to know more about the past of voldemort and also about the marauders (i wish that Rowling would write something about it) but since she doesn't i guess that David Styles is a pretty good alternative. I know that this one is just a fanfic but it's so much like going back to Hogwarts, the story is well written and it has references to the harry potter books and it makes us feel like it is part of the original series. 

In this one, i was so please to see Hagrid.... it breaks my heart when his father dies.... poor thing! We are also presented to moaning myrtle (in the ravenclaw table, when Tom goes to the Christmas dinner there). I was socked with both Marca and Jana in this book.... what a secret to keep..... And also i start to see more of voldemort in Tom in this one.... 

The only thing that makes me sad is that i have only one books left to read.... please David can you keep writing the entire 7 books???

Introduction!!!

Hi everyone, 

I'm Carla and i'm from Portugal. I have so many different interests that when i think to start a blog i could not choose just one theme to make it about, so the idea to start a miscellaneous blog come to me. 

I love books and in my life i could not go without them, so a huge part of this blog will be about reading. I will do reviews, talk about some promotions and huge bargains that i find and also talk about all the literature challenges i'm doing in the moment. 

Another one of my passions / obsessions is Harry Potter! I’m completely and irreversibly a Potterhead. This is the first series of books that I read (I have to confess that before this books i do not like to read, shame on me…) and since I discover the wizarding world i have been in love with it.  

I have a lot of other interests like photography, travels, nails art, ect… and I will be talking a little bit about them too. Also the most important thing for me is my baby girl Hedwig. She is a little terrier and she make me so happy that I could not exclude her from this blog.
