<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The items this month are all related somehow with th<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">e<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> <span style="color: blue; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Goblet Of Fire<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> <span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">book and i love the <span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">idea that each box is about a school year at Hogwarts. Personally this is my favorite book so i was very excited to receive this box.
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The first item we get is a shirt with a very unique design that i just love. It is dark gray with a silhouette of the triwizard cup painted on it in shades of blue and white, it so simple and yet so complex and i just love the fact that it was hand painted, the quality is amazing and i was so glad to have something that represents the tournament.
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This box also has a replica of the goblet of fire with a little parchment inside (OMG i don't recall what it say..... but i think is something related with you being the Hogwarts champion) and again i really like this item. As i say, goblet of fire is my favorite book and so to have a little replica of the goblet is so so cool, i just wish it was bigger.
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

Everyone knows that in the second task Harry eats Gillyweed so to receive a replica of this "disgusting" green herb in a nice touch in this box. It shows that the boxes are thinking to appraise the fans and that they have so much attention to details. We received the usual poster about the year of this box and this one is the one i like the most of all the boxes we have already received.

Finally there is also a notepad with sentences and little designs featuring scenes from the book and a feather pen (i think everyone received green but i would love a blue one) that are now i my collection.

I gave this box 3.7 out of 5*, it is not my favorite so far but it has great items, my two favorites ones are the shirt and the goblet and my less favorite i think was the Gillyweed. In the next box i'm expecting something related with the order of the phoenix and i would love something about the Black family. As for items i would like something different from a shirt since this box is so unusual in that aspect (the fact we don't receive always a shirt is one of the best things about this boxes) i would love different items like a bookmark, a tote bag or a pin for example.

I recommend this box to every Harry Potter Lover out there!!!!

This was the book from January Fairyloot box and i was so glad when i see it because i just love the cover and the blurb, so i have ended up buying it anyway.

I really like fantasy books, and those of you that read this genre know that there is a lot of species we can read about. For me it is not usual to read about Faeries, so i was super excited about this world and it was a great surprise when i discover how it was created. Really like the fact that the human world was placed in the actual times and not in a medieval kind of way and that in the Faerie world there are so many different species of creatures. The fact that the humans are saw was inferior beings is a little difficult for me at the beginning but them i get why it is that way and i really like the plot line.

As for the character's i will say that i like both Jude and Cardan and i dislike them also, let me explain, the character's personality was well built and i can understand why they are the way they are, but come on..... some of their attitudes (especially Jude's) i cannot understand. Why she did the things she did was beyond me and i think some of the choices are not realistic.

I gave it 4.2 out of 5*, it was one of the most difficult books to rate so far because i did not understand some of the directions the plot line takes but at the same time i could not put the book down and when i finish it i only want the next one to devour it. I cannot talk more about this book without making spoiler so i will only say that this is a book everyone should read and i'm sure you will get so many emotions during the read that it will conquer you either way. Carla Simõeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12263126543804648616noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6299266369158821182.post-83224571517162806152018-02-28T08:14:00.000-08:002018-02-28T08:14:34.689-08:00Book Review: Dreamer's Pool (Blackthorn & Grim #1) by Juliet Marillier

This is the first book from a new series by Juliet Marillier and so i had to get my hands on it. I just love all her books and although this is not one of my favorites it was a good start for a series and i will definitely continue to read it.

Here we get to know Blackthorn and Grim two characters with an enormous baggage from their past who meet each other in the most precarious situation. Their relationship evolves naturally to a friendship and i love to see it happens, i'm super curious to know more about Grim's past and when i read about Blackthorn's one i cry like a baby.
One of the things you could expect while reading this author's books is that you will get emotional for sure, she has a way of creating worlds and characters with whom you can relate and this is the first step for you to care so much that you "live" the plot story like if it was yours.

Another main character in the first book from this series is Oran, the prince from Dalriada and the owner of the land's where Blackthorn and Grim end up creating their home. Again i like this character and he was not what i was expecting from a Prince. I did not know if we are going to see Oran in future books but i hope so, because i would like to see what happens to him after the final of Dreamer's Pool.

If you have already read her previous books you could guess where the plot line is going but i have to say that i did not see a little twist that happens at the end. In general it is a good book and i recommend it to every reader you likes fantasy that takes place in a magical world.

I end up giving this book 3.4 out of 5* just because i think it a little slow paced at first. I understand that this is the beginning of a series and i hope the next one get's better in the cadence of the story.

I have seen this book for quite a time now in the bookstagram community and i fall in love with the theme and the cover, so when i discover that my first box ever from fairyloot would bring this i was beyond myself with excitement.

I liked the plot a lot, what was not to like? The world created by the author is terrific and the ideas that are present in this book are so imaginative. I really like to read fantasy, however if you read so many books as i do you end up comparing them all and see little things that you recognize from something you have already read before. In this one i do not get that sense, the plot line is so unique and different that i have to devour it asap to know more and more.

For me the only downside of this book was the romantic part, i really like to see a good romance in fantasy books and in this book we do not get that. I'm expecting it to grown up in the next book and i'm pretty sure that i know who will it be with. As for the final, OMG i was not expecting it! Let me say there are twists and turns but nothing comparing to this final.... i was left speechless.

I end up giving this one 4.3 out of 5 * for all the things i describe before, i would love to give it more but the romance.... well i just hope that i will give 5 * to the second book. I definitely recommend it to every fantasy lover out there and let me say that so far it was in my top 3 of this year.

This is the 3º book from Rizzoli and Isles series and i was so surprised when i start it and discover that this one is written mostly in Maura Isles POV. I liked a lot the opportunity to see more of her thoughts and to get to know her better and of course the few chapters about Rizzoli are also very interesting. Tess can create characters that you can relate to and that you want to help in any way during the hard parts of the plot, this is one of the best things in her books.

About the crime itself it was imaginative but not very surprising, i discover the who and why of it before the disclosure of the book, but there are some twists that i did not see coming. I can't read this series without imagining the actors from the TV series and while this is not a problem it abhors me because in a book i like the free rein to imagine and create my own images and ideas.

I gave this book 4,1 out of 5*, it is a series i will continue to read and it surprise me how easy of a read it was because this genre normally is a heavy read and this one was the opposite.
I recommend it to everyone how like the TV series and also to any mystery reader love.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I have always wanted to receive a subscription box based on books but i have the problem with the shipping costs (usually they are more expensive than the boxes itself) so when i found Fairyloot i was so so so happy.
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">For those of you that do not know about this company, Fairyloot is a UK’s popular book subscription service that gives to you monthly a box filled with bookish goodies and a recent release book. They have a montlhy theme and you could expect a young adult book related to that theme.
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">If you want to know more about it here go the Fairyloot Site.
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">For me the box cost <span style="background-color: white; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">29,34 € <span style="background-color: white; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">(26.00£) and the shipping is 8,35 € (7.13£).
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Let's start with the book of the month, it was The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and i was so happy since this book was in my wish list and i will end up buying it at some point.
One thing i have to refer is that the book in these boxes comes always in a booksleeve with the fairy design you could see on the box itself, i just love this detail because it shows how much they care for the books and how much effort the put in the details and making sure the costumer received good items.
Joining the book we have every month a letter from the author and a signed bookplate, i just love these little touches and they make me sure i will continue to subscribe this for a very long time.

Also every month we received a bookmark with the theme of the month, i have a collection of bookmarks and omg these designs from the themes are just gorgeous, so i'm so happy they make this a recurrent thing in the boxes. Especially this month we get a set of magnetic bookmarks from ACOTAR that presents Rhys and Feyre in their Illyrian fighting clothes, i was absolutely in love with those and i'm now considering to buy more and start also a magnetic bookmark collection.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The biggest thing we get this month is a pillowcase from ACOTAR with the sentence "Only you can decide what breaks you". the design was magnificent, i love the colors and the sentence and this will be living in my bed for sure.
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

One of the things i like most (besides books) are candles, so when i receive bookish candles i just went mad =D this box brings a candle featuring a character from the book we received (the cruel prince) and it just smells amazing. Also related to the book we get a lip balm, you could have received two different kinds (Seelie or Unseelie) and i got the Seelie one, i'm not sure it i will use it or if it will sit in my bookshelf.

Another thing you could expect, if not every month almost every month, are book prints. As the bookmark we received one from the month theme with the same design, and these month we get more 3 book print. One from the same character that the candle feature, and two from ToG series featuring Rowan and Aelin. The backside of these prints have sentence related so you could use it the way you like best.

Last we get a coloring book with fairy themes, i like very much to color when i'm listening to audiobooks but i do not know if i will use this one because the designs are so beautiful in black and with.

I gave this box 4.5 out of 5* i just love it. My favorite item (i will not consider the book) was the magnetic bookmark and the less favorite one was the lip balm.

The next month theme is "Twisted Tales" and i was so anxious and excited to receive it. I just have a guess what the book will going to be, and let's hope i'm right. <span style="background-color: white; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">Do you receive this box? if so tell me what did you think of these month. Carla Simõeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12263126543804648616noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6299266369158821182.post-60385846756568244542018-02-14T03:44:00.001-08:002018-02-14T03:44:34.928-08:00January Book Haul<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Every reader knows that buying books when you have a TBR (to be read) pile the size of a little country is something essential. <span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I really had a good reading month and in general i like all the books i read.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">My favorite one was A court of Mist and Fury, i end up giving it 4.9 out of 5* and it was a book that make me think of the plot and the characters for day's after i finish it. The less favorite book of January was Sinful in Satin, i like it but it was the book that makes me less anxious to finish and the plot was not super exciting.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This month i have two favorite covers: Everless and The Crown. OMG did you guy's saw this gorgeous and breathtaking covers? If not go see them ASAP and i'm sure you will fall in love with them.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Now for my February TBR! In most part i'm a mood reader but i usually can stick to a monthly TBR because when i decide it i choose books that i'm in a mood to read. This month i intend to go through 12 books, but i have to confess that 4 of them are short stories, so without further ado here is my list:

This is the 3º book in the Rarest Blooms series by Madeline Hunter and i have only read the second one before, however it was so long ago that i did not remember anything about the plot. I have a little difficulty in the begging about remembering the characters interaction and the relations between them but later it became more easier.

About the main characters and their romance i like it, it was a sweet one but sometimes Celia get's a little annoying with her ideas that she is not "normal" and because of her situation she can't be happy. It was a book that you could read without thinking too much about it, there are not twist and surprises in this one and you get exactly what you are expecting from the book.

I gave it 2,7 out of 5*, it was not my favorite book from this genre but it was an easy read that takes you away from reality for some time.

Let me explain it a little bit better, women have a way of scheming and ploting against each other that men do not have and because of that i think the other selection had many layers to it.

A positive thing about this one and that make me read it in a single day was the fact that we do not have absolutely certain who will be the choice, in the other books we know that America will end up being the selected one but here we have so many possibilities.
I have my thoughts about who will be chosen in this selection, but i have to confess that i was divided between two guys. One of them was the final choice of Eadlyn and i was again happy and sad at the same time.

I gave this book 3.9 out of 5*, i really like this series and for me it was one of the best i read in this genre. <span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Since i start my bookstagram a few months ago i always see great reviews about this series so i decided that it would be a great way to start my 2018 reading year.

This is the first book in the Throne of Glass series and it was a little different than what i was expecting from the blurb, not in a bad way, i was thinking it will be a action book based on a competition but really the competition although have a big part in the plot line are not the center of the book and although there is action in this book there is also a little romance, palatial intrigues and a lot of investigation regarding some mystery evil that is haunting everyone.

The writing style is simple and at the same time captivating and one could not put the book down since the beginning. The main character's are lovable and we get involved in their lives so much that we end up suffering and felling all the emotions they fell. I have to say that my top 3 are Calaena, Chaol and Nehemia, but i still could not decide who i want Calaena to end up with.

I gave this book 4.3 out of 5*, i'm so glad i start this series and that i discover this amazing books to read during this year. I will order the next one in my January book haul because i'm so curious to know what will happen next.

Since we received this box before Christmas it was totally appropriated to receive Christmas decorations in it, they send us two tree hanging balls with a stag and the letters HP in them. The colors of the letters match the color of your Hogwarts house and again this shows the detail the team put in the construction of this box.

Inside of the box they include a little letter with wishes for good holidays and i love the attention and the feel that this box is directed to you. Also there is a key chain with your Hogwarts house crest, again i have been tempted to buy it a little while ago, but the price makes me always hesitate so i'm so so glad that i have it now, and he rest with my house key right now.
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">

The last items are a Knight bus ticket that i will add to my collection and join at the Hogwarts express one from the first box, a print featuring the patronus enchantment and a poster of Sirius Black.

The last item is not a poster is the guide that contain all the items in this box and the explanations but i love it so much that i have to put it on a frame and hang it on my wall.

I gave this box 4,7 out of 5* for me it was almost perfect, would love for something marauder related but i cannot complain, the value of this box was beyond what i was expecting and the items..... OMG i'm speechless.
My favorite has to be the funko but closely followed by the box, the less favorite has to be the print.

I'm expecting with great anticipation the next box because Goblet of Fire is my favorite book. I would love to see something related to the triwizard tournament and to the Yule ball. Let's see what next month brought....

I get this book a little by impulse after i finished Murder on the Orient Express and when i decided to buy more books from Christie i stumble upon this one in a promotion 1=2.

When i read the blurb i do not get the right impression about what type of book this was, in reality this is a collection of short stories written by the author during her life and not a full book.
Personally i do not like this format because the stories are so small that we can´t get the felling we normally got from her books, i mean there is not the sense of empathy with the characters neither the enthusiasm about discovering who the murder is and why she/he did it.

I gave 1,7 out of 5 * to this one, in general the stories are well written and my favorite one was "Manx Gold" but i was expecting more and i would love to see this collection of stories completely developed and with a full book for each one of them.

I only recommend this book to someone who likes really short stories and doesn't mind the little explanation about the plot line and the character's.

My Review:

*** This book was given to me by the author to read and review. Although the opinions in here are all my own ***

The first thing i notice when i open the file that was send to me was the image on the cover, it was a little bit dark and sinister and make me think of a terror movie. I guess one could say that this is the type of cover that makes an impression at first glance.

So i would like to start this review saying that i read a little bit of every genre but terror and horror one's are not my favorites and really not my type. That said the writing style is simple enough but for me the language is sometimes a little bit crude, i understand this use in this story and i guess it makes sense considering the plot but the author could have use more variations of some terms that are not so forthcoming.

This book is divided between two key times during the life of the main characters, their infancy and later their adult life. I like this time lapse because in books that begin with very young characters i like to be able to see what happen to them after they grow up.

For me the final of the book was lacking, i fell like in the end i miss something. I don't know if it was a better explanation about what happen to the main characters but i was left with the felling this story have not ended yet.... i do not know if this was the idea of the author or not to not finish things completely because he can return to this plot sometime and make a sequel.

I end up only giving this book 1.8 out of 5* manly because i do not like this genre of books very much and not because i think the book was bad. I think it would be an amazing Halloween read and that for people you like terror and horror stories i would recommend they give this author a go. Carla Simõeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12263126543804648616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6299266369158821182.post-72515479692448955372017-12-19T10:02:00.000-08:002017-12-19T10:02:06.142-08:00Book Review: Murder on the Orient Express (Hercule Poirot #10) by Agatha Christie

So i have to admit that i only buy and start this book right now because of the movie, i do not like to see a movie based on a book without reading the book first and when a friend invite me to go see this one i though i need to read it today!

I really enjoy 99% of Christie books and i think her books have a easy writing and a way of capturing the reader attention. This one has a very interesting plot and for me at least a completely unexpected final. It happens to me in books from this genre, to suspect someone during all the book and do not change my mind, in this one it was the opposite i think i suspect all the characters at some point but i never could have guessed the solution to this mystery.

The only thing i could point out that may be a downside for some people is the fact that this book does not have much action, the most part of the books are interviews and the main character (Poirot) doing his thinking and connecting dots. For me it was not a problem because i sometimes like a book that makes me think and i do not mind fewer action.

I went to see the movie some days after i finish the read and i recommend it but again i have to just say THE BOOK WAS BETTER!

Gave this story 4,8 out of 5* and let me say that this was my favorite read of November. It was a book i could not put down from the moment i start it and i as so curious to know what would happen, i definitely recommend this book to all the readers that love a good mystery and also to those that like a book with many twists that made you think and rethink about all the possible scenarios that the plot is going to take.

Lorelai Diederich, crown princess and fugitive at large, has one mission: kill the wicked queen who took both the Ravenspire throne and the life of her father. To do that, Lorelai needs to use the one weapon she and Queen Irina have in common—magic. She’ll have to be stronger, faster, and more powerful than Irina, the most dangerous sorceress Ravenspire has ever seen.

In the neighboring kingdom of Eldr, when Prince Kol’s father and older brother are killed by an invading army of magic-wielding ogres, the second-born prince is suddenly given the responsibility of saving his kingdom. To do that, Kol needs magic—and the only way to get it is to make a deal with the queen of Ravenspire, promise to become her personal huntsman…and bring her Lorelai’s heart.

But Lorelai is nothing like Kol expected—beautiful, fierce, and unstoppable—and despite dark magic, Lorelai is drawn in by the passionate and troubled king. Fighting to stay one step ahead of the dragon huntsman—who she likes far more than she should—Lorelai does everything in her power to ruin the wicked queen. But Irina isn’t going down without a fight, and her final move may cost the princess the one thing she still has left to lose.
This book was a complete cover buy for me, i love the cover and later when i read the blurb i add it to my wishlist.It was there for quite some time so when i finally decided to order it i have to start reading the same day it arrived.

It was a snow white retelling, with easy writting style and a very fluent language. I guess you get almost what you are expecting from this book, i mean if you know snow white you can guess prety fast what the main plot of this one is going to be.
However i was a little bit surprised with some twists that the author add to this book, mostly Lorelai brother.

About the main character's i like but do not love them, the development of theirs personality are sometimes lacking but they have a sweet romance. This is the kind of book you read easy in a day or two and i get curious about the next books in this series, although they are separated reads that do not have relation between them.

I gave this one 3,4 out of 5* and i recommend it to someone you loves fairy tales retelling's.Carla Simõeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12263126543804648616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6299266369158821182.post-88552312772719168692017-12-11T10:20:00.003-08:002017-12-11T10:22:01.662-08:00Wizardry Student Box _ October 2017

"In this breathless third installment to Victoria Aveyard’s bestselling Red Queen series, allegiances are tested on every side. This is the 3 book from the Red Queen series by victoria Aveyard, and i know that there is a lot of controversy surrounding this series but i really like it a lot.

For me the beginning of this book was a little slow with a lot of conversation and little action, but later it fasten up and the final is once again breathtaking and leaves us salivating for the next one in this series.
There are also some less positive aspects in this book, again i consider the chapters a little to big for my liking and there are some situations where the behavior of the main character's leave me wanting to strangle them.

About the main character's i have to confess that i cannot dislike Maven 100% and sometimes i wish he can be recovered. I'm super curious about the final book that will be released in 2018 and i can't wait to read it.

I gave this one 4,4 out of 5*, it is not my favorite from this series but the plot is interesting and for someone who like the previous one's they will definitely like this too.

The plot takes place almost at the same moment the previous book finish but in another part of the world and with different characters.
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">We are introduced to Scarlet, a teenager that is in search for her missing grandmother and wolf a street fighter that is going to help her.
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">Again this book brings much more that the usual retelling, the plot is imaginative and we are always trying to guess what will comes next. In Cinder we get almost what we are expecting from a cinderella retelling, instead in this second books we get many surprises and twists. The only thing i do not really like was the fact that the universal plot do not get much advance to it, that is we get to see and learn a lot more about Cinder past and what happens to bring the characters to that point of the story, but in the final of Scarlet we are almost at the same stage we were when we start the book.
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">I gave this book 4.25 out of 5*, i could not give more because of the sense that the plot does not evolve but at the same time i could not give less because i really like scarlet and wolfs story.
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: georgia, "times new roman", serif;">I'm so so curious about what will happen in next books that i think i will start it soon enough.

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Sixteen-year-old Cinder is considered a technological mistake by most of society and a burden by her stepmother. Being cyborg does have its benefits, though: Cinder's brain interference has given her an uncanny ability to fix things (robots, hovers, her own malfunctioning parts), making her the best mechanic in New Beijing. This reputation brings Prince Kai himself to her weekly market booth, needing her to repair a broken android before the annual ball. He jokingly calls it "a matter of national security," but Cinder suspects it's more serious than he's letting on.

Although eager to impress the prince, Cinder's intentions are derailed when her younger stepsister, and only human friend, is infected with the fatal plague that's been devastating Earth for a decade. Blaming Cinder for her daughter's illness, Cinder's stepmother volunteers her body for plague research, an "honor" that no one has survived.

But it doesn't take long for the scientists to discover something unusual about their new guinea pig. Something others would kill for.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I have see this book on my goodreads feed for quite a time but i never feel the urge to start reading it. A little explanation for those of you that do not know what goodreads is.... well the best way to describe it is "like a facebook for books" where you can register what you read, participate in book challenges, get bookworm friends, etc....

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I will leave the link for you to see it: goodreads

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">As for this book it seems at first sight a fairy tale retelling of Cinderella with a little of snow white in the mixture, but when you start reading it you get so much more in the plot. The book is very fast paced and there is always happening things.

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> The world the author has created is captivating, imagine a futuristic scenario where the world is inhabit by humans, cyborg's and androids and where the moon is also inhabit by a race called Lunar's. Imagine also that a plague is striking our planet, and in the middle of all this we have our main character Cinder, her stepmother, her stepsisters and a prince charming.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Although<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> it is also a little predictable, i guess you could catch the main plot very easy if you are aware of the fairy tales i mention before.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I listen to this in audiobook and i have to say i really like the narrator <span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Rebecca Soler and the cadence of the audio. I usually only listen to books i want to reread and this was one of the first times i actually listen to a new to me book and i liked a lot.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I gave a solid 4,75 out of 5* and i only have two regrets regarding this book, the first that i do not read it sooner and the second that i do not have it on my bookshelf because i really liked it and the cover is just gorgeous.
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This is a series i will definitely follow and i recommend it to anyone you love a good fairy tale but also an amazing fantasy book.

<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Let me start this review saying that i love this series! I discover Donna Grant book's purely by luck while searching for fantasy and i fell in love with the covers and blurbs.

This is the 5 book of the Dark Warriors series and for those of you that do not know Donna Grant books, this series is the second part of the Dark World that has began with the series Dark Sword.
Although this is a book series, in the first chapters the author leaves little references and explanations for the important aspects of the world she has created as well as descriptions of what has happened in last book. For me it is an asset because i do not read her books in a row and between reads there are some details i do not recall.

Other great aspect of this series is the fact that we get to see glimpses of all the previous main characters from past books. We get a sense of family and union that i just love and so many twists and unexpected turns that it leaves us hanging by a thread.

This particular one is a sweet story, i was not particularly curious about Arran because he was not one of my favorite warriors but his mate compensate that. I just love to read about Ronnie and these two make a good match. The final of the book.... OH MY GOD! It is full of twists and i was desperate for a moment because of something that happens.
You can really know how good a book is just for the simple fact that you cannot put it down and you cry all over it with emotions in a turmoil.

The only thing i did not enjoy in this books are the length of the chapters, sometimes they tend to be a little bigger than i enjoy and for me this difficult the reading. I was super curious to know what will happen in the next book and so i have already order it.

I gave this one 4,4 out of 5*, it was not a 5* book for me but it was close. The writing style captivates you from the beginning and like i have already state the final of the book is mind blowing. If you love paranormal romance you have definitely to start this series!
